John Jackson “Phil” Shook Jr. age 61 of Sevierville, TN. passed away on May 28, 2012.

John was a veteran of the US Army, serving his country with pride and honor during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Headrick Shook; brother, Raymond Shook; sister, Carolyn Whaley and mother-in-law, Hazel Joyce Simpson.

Survivors include his beloved wife, B.J. Shook; step-son, Jeremy Peak; daughters, Lois Shook and Christine Reid; brothers, Eddie, Doug and Leon Shook; special friends, Steve Coffee and family, Ronald Bryant and family, Larry McClure and family, Marvin Reagan and Scotty Ogle and family and his animals “The Beloved Boy’s”.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to UT Hospice and to the V.A. Services.

Services will be held 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 30. 2012 at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville with Brother Jack ogle officiating.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 prior to the service.

Cremation service’s handled by Rawlings Funeral Home.

Interment Is planned for a later date.
