Our condolences to Lani's entire family. Lani's struggles have been very dificult over the past two years. She survived with the loving care of all her family mambers. She experienced so much personal tradegy in her relatively short life time but she endured with a positive attitude and outlook for the future.
Now that her struggles have been relieved, may she rest in peace.

I know we have lost contact over the years and I do want you to know that since I have not seen Jeanette in a long time, I always thought of her and liked her very much. I am so sorry that she is gone and I am hoping it will make you feel better to know that you will get to see her again one day and she is healed of all her sicknesses. She is not having to suffer anymore. she is in a wonderful place where the flowers all stay in bloom. She is spreading her wings in heaven. She was a hard worker and I know she loved you and all her kids and grandkids very much. She always looked forward to seeing all of you. Just remember that I will never forget Jeanette, she was good to me. If there is anything I can do please let me know.

Dear Mike and family. So sorry to hear of Aunt Vena's passing,it breaks my heart that we haven't seen yall in years. Mom,Aunt Inez is in a nursing home and has been for a year.I remember the first time we came back to tennessee to see yall and what a good time we had,Except you,Mike, remember getting stung by those bees in the hedge at Aunt Jenny's home. We kept in touch with Aunt Vena as much as possible.We will always love yall and miss yall.Love Mary

84 I remember Vena Rhea when i was living at my grandparents home near Henderson Springs in the early 1940's. My cousin Olive Hardin and I would walk from our house to Pine Grove School or the church and come out from the swinging bridge trail to the road at the Ellis house. Your mom was a little older than I and Olive. I always remember her being so sweet to us and happy that we stopped at their house.
Mike, when I had you as a student, you were a bit special because I had known your mother when I was a young girl. And Sandy, you have always been special because I was in the same class in school with your Dad. Mary Alice Teague
