Obituary

Barbara Jean McMahan Warpool of Pigeon Forge met her Heavenly Father on December 27, 2021.   Barbara was born on April 14, 1938 in Sevierville.  Known to her family and friends as Bob, she was loved by family, friends and co-workers.  She was a loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.  She graduated from Sevier County High School in 1955 and a Nashville Business School in 1956.  She worked for many years as the Dining Room Manager for the Pancake Pantry in Gatlinburg.  Bob enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, light houses, reading books and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her grandparents James and Mary Alice Hatcher, parents Fitzhugh and Pauline McMahan, and brother Ray McMahan.
 
Those left to cherish her memory include her son Jim Warpool (w. Jolie), daughters Debbie Redding and Patti Warpool, sister Faye Hobert (h. Steve), grandchildren Daniel Warpool (w. Melissa), Christie Williams (h. Buddy), Bo Dixon (w. Mallory), great-grandchildren, Kayla, Christopher and Clay Williams, Catlin and Casen Dixon.

A graveside service for Barbara will be held at Little Cove Baptist Church Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little Cove Baptist Church, 1714 Little Cove Road, Sevierville, Tennessee 37862.
