Charles Glen Reagan

April 29, 1939 ~ March 3, 2022 (age 82)


Charles "Charlie" Reagan was a Sevier County native, born and raised at the Gum Stand.  Charlie served in the United States Marine Corps 1959-1980 where he did four tours in Vietnam and was the recipient of the Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm.  After retirement Charlie spent six years as a police officer with the Pigeon Forge Police Department then became the first Director of the Pigeon Forge Trolly system spending twenty-two years with the City of Pigeon Forge.


Charlie is preceded in death by his parents Raymond Reagan and Ruby Lamon Reagan, brothers Jerry Reagan and Phill Privette and sister-in-law Margie Reagan.  He is survived by his wife Vera Reagan, sons Samuel Reagan (Laura) and Christopher Reagan (Glenda), grandsons Samuel W. Reagan, Gunner Phillips (Xena), and Gavin Phillips, great granddaughter Pattyn Phillips, brother and best friend Dennis Reagan, sister and caregiver Gloria Privette, dear friend and adopted daughter Lorna Carpenter, niece Joyce Reagan and family, niece Susan Boresky and family, nephew Toby Deckard and family, nephew Nick Deckard and family, special friend Richard Lambeck, and many Marine Corps brothers.

Funeral services will be held by Rawlings Funeral Home at Pathways Church in Sevierville on Tuesday, March 8th, 2022. The family will receive friends and family from 12-2pm with service following immediately at 2pm. Procession will go to Caney Cemetery directly after service.
