Harold “Dink” Finchum went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 1, 2020. Dink was the owner and operator of Jerry’s Carpet in Sevierville. He was of the Christian faith and member of Boyd’s Creek Church of God, member of the Gatlinburg Elks Lodge. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing trips with his fishing buddies, skilled wood worker and a passionate poker player who played with his buddies in his poker building.
Preceded in death by parents, Asa Lonzo and Minnie Romines Finchum; his son, Jimmy McKeehan, Jr, and daughter, Ann Marie Chumley; brothers, Oliver “Broady” Finchum, Mayford Finchum, James Ralph (Vita) Finchum, Raymond Holbert (Jeannie) Finchum, JW “John William” (Sally Evelyn) Finchum, Raymond Finchum; sisters, Anna “Bonnie” Finchum, Imogene Fain, Juanita Davenport.
He leaves his wife of 40 years, JoAnn Whaley Finchum; son Jeremy Daniel Finchum and girlfriend. Michelle Heidenreich; brothers, Jerry (Judy) Finchum, Dwight (Nancy) Romines; sisters in law; Karen Finchum, Carolyn Finchum; special grandson, D.J. Finchum; special friend’s, Donna Lewis, Harold and Mettie Whaley, Mike and Tina Johnson, Rolando “Macho” Monteagudo; several nieces and nephews; special nephew, Dylan Finchum; grandson’s, Michael McGill, Jerome and Jimmy Chumley; granddaughter, Natalie McGill.
Graveside service will be Sunday, April 5, 2020 @ 2:00 pm at Providence Church Cemetery, officiating Rev. Curtis Manning.
