Kay and Larry, I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was so helpful in getting me started with the City of Newport News. Most of all, he was my Dad's right hand man and good friend. He will be so missed but the memories will be treasure. Larry, I enjoy talking with you from time to time and hope to talk more in the future.

Kay, Young Larry, Rachael, Cody, and Family:

My heart goes out to you and your family.  The news that Larry passed saddened me more than I can say.  Words are totally inadequate to express my feelings.

Kay,  as you know, Roger and I owe you and Larry so much.  If it were not for the two of you, we would not have had the success we have achieved in our lifetime.  Thank you!  Thank both of you!

Young Larry, It goes without saying that your father loved you every much, wanted you to do well, wanted you to be a productive citizen, a good father and husband, and most of all, wanted you to be happy.  I know that he loved that wonderful grandson, Cody. You are a fine family, and you will be able to find many ways to support one another as the years pass.

I know also that you will be helpful, considerate, kind, and thoughtful toward your mother and a tremendous source of strength and comfort to her in the years ahead.  I am confident that you are prepared to do what you must do in these respects.

You are a fine family, and you should be able to find many ways to help and support one another.  You have my heartfelt sympathy during this difficult time.

You know better than I, better than any of your friends how irreparably great is your loss.  I love you!  I love all of you!

Kay, our heart goes out to you, Larry Wayne , and family.   I often think back to our trip to Alaska and how much fun we had together.  I will always remember Larry pushing Owen's wheelchair all over Alaska!   We send our love.
