Shirley Ann Bourbeau (Bosworth) was born on March 24, 1947, in Chicago, IL.
She was raised in Burlington, WI, along with her seven brothers and sisters: Dick Bosworth (Pam), Donald Bosworth, Gary Bosworth, Linda Baumeister, Patricia Kegley (Jeff), Larry Bosworth, and Betsy Bosworth. She was the oldest girl and gladly took the role of “mom” to the little kids.
In 1974 she was reunited with her high school crush, James Bourbeau. They married on September 6, 1975. Shirley had seven children that she loved dearly: Angela Wheeler (Sark), Bruce Sark, Shannon Sark, Wendy Sark, Renae Hall (Bourbeau), Robert Bourbeau, and Rebecca Bourbeau. She had 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She also had many nieces and nephews who loved her like a second mom and she loved them all.
Shirley had several jobs, but is probably best remembered for her time at The Palace in Burlington, WI. Shirley and Jim moved to Florence, WI, where they continued to raise their family and enjoy camping, hiking, and deer and bear rides. In 2017 they moved to Tennessee to join family and enjoy the weather and mountains.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. Also her husband, James Bourbeau (Brat), and two daughters, Angela Wheeler and Wendy Sark, as well as her oldest son, Bruce Sark and grandson, Todd Sark.
She will be dearly missed by her family near and far, and all of her dear friends.
